If you go on to study BTECs after passing GCSEs you will be studying at Level 3. Some GCSE subjects can be taken at BTEC Level 3 and there are many more to choose from. You can take BTEC Level 3 at the equivalent of one, two or three A Levels. This means you can study three different subjects or just one in depth. You can also mix and match with A Levels. BTECs are a mixture of exams and coursework and can lead on to university.
